#DESIGN THINKING

How I use Design Thinking to reshape working culture.

When I first joined my company, decision-making followed a traditional waterfall approach. The stakeholders would discuss ideas verbally, document them in simple write-ups, and pass them down to developers. This method lacked transparency and made it difficult to trace the reasoning behind decisions—especially since they were primarily based on executive experience rather than user feedback. Recognizing these challenges, I introduced a Design Thinking approach to transform the way we made product decisions, conducted Scrum events, and collaborated as a team.

Resales Plus

Resales Plus is a modern evolution of a legacy real estate platform, which I led the redesign to meet the needs of industry professionals. Through UX research, usability testing, and iterative design, we enhanced workflow efficiency, search functionality, and data visualization. This transformation improved usability, performance, and user satisfaction, making Resales Plus a more intuitive and powerful tool for real estate professionals.

Our UX research showed that from spending weeks for first time users to get used to the old platform, with the new design, the adoption time decreases all the way to just hours.

Clearer Hierarchy & Grouping
Organized features based on user needs and priorities, ensuring a seamless experience with well-defined categories
Improve User Flow
Redesigned user flows with clearly defined goals, ensuring that each step aligns with how users interact with the platform.
